Starting from the second quarter of 2019, Ukraine has been working on the development of new legislation that would regulate the gambling business. In October, a draft law on the legalization of gambling was filed to the Verkhovna Rada. January of 2020 was marked by the adoption of the elaborated document in the first reading. Currently, it is being prepared for the second reading.
Smile-Expo supports the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky aiming to legalize the gambling industry. For this reason, our team is arranging a big exhibition dedicated to the gambling business – Ukrainian Gaming Week.
The event is intended to bring together industry leaders, become a platform that reviews the main industry trends and discusses regulations of the gambling market in the country. Besides, we expect the event to facilitate the arrival of global gambling companies in Ukraine and to help raise foreign investments.
The event will take place in Kyiv, at the International Exhibition Centre, on April 15 and 16.
About the program of UGW

The event will involve a two-day conference. Speakers will be foreign gambling specialists, local public officials, and members of specialized associations.
Ukrainian experts will discuss the new gambling legislation, opportunities, and prospects of the gambling market. Speakers from abroad will share secrets of launching, developing, and promoting foreign gambling companies.
Attendees of UGW will have the possibility to examine the stands of participants and listen to the presentations of speakers, as well as to ask them questions.
