Smile-Expo adds Georgia to the network of Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference events
On June 20, Smile-Expo will start its first crypto event in Georgia titled Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Georgia. The event will take place in the heart of Tbilisi, at the fashionable Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel and will bring together the largest players of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
Why Tbilisi?
Today several large mining centers are located in Georgia. Their owners note that the country has optimal conditions for cryptocurrency mining: corresponding climate, affordable electricity prices, competitive labor conditions, and favorable regulation. Moreover, there is a special tax regime. Several free economic areas are available, income and securities are exempt from tax. Dividends tax is only 5%. There are support programs for business.
In summer of 2017, Georgia launched a blockchain-based system for registering real estate property, which has been successfully functioning for almost a year. Bitfury developed the software complex for this system. Further plans include transferring to blockchain of notary and escrow services.
Smile-Expo is always looking for new promising platforms for events. Therefore, we have added Georgia to the network of Bitcoin & Blockchain Conference events.
