The second in a row Conference and Exhibition "Internet of Things" took place on October 29 at the Marriott Courtyard Moscow City Center Hotel. Without exaggeration, it has become a significant event in the sphere of the Internet of Everything. The event has brought together a huge number of well-known experts of IoT industry, who are interested in the development of this market.
The conference program consisted of two parts: "Industrial IoT" for the industry experts and business representatives and "Lifestyle IoT" for young developers, start-ups and investors.
The second international exhibition and conference "Internet of Things" was attended by representatives of platform products, such as Tibbo, iRidium, MediaTek, PTC, as well as software developers: Microsoft, Google, Yandex, IBM, Redmond. In addition, representatives of Skolkovo and investment funds such as Leta Capital and StarNet Alliance attended the conference.
Special attention was paid to the foreign guests who spoke at the conference and told the guests and colleagues about their vision of IoT market in Europe and the United States. The representatives of France Telecom, Orange, IDate, Colas Group and RelayR, MediaTek also shared their thoughts with the audience.
Throughout the day, the guests of the "Internet of Things" had the opportunity to ask the most relevant questions and discuss problems of development of the Internet technologies in Russia.
During the event, the jury chose three most interesting projects among IoT start-ups, which were given an opportunity to present their ideas. They were:
Comfortway - innovative SIM-chips for mobile devices;
Mother - matryoshka doll that is watching you;
Do@Home - ready smart home system.
The exhibition area was specially organized to visualize designs and products of the companies. It involved live communication between developers and representatives of various companies during the whole day.
The demo area has given the opportunity to see what the area of technological progress called the Internet of Things is like. Innovative projects presented by developers could not leave anyone indifferent.
Special attention was given to networking, which allowed all participants agreeing freely on cooperation and development of joint projects in the framework of the conference.
Smart home technologies were a key topic at the conference. Speakers Alexander Bulavin, Alexei Korzhebin and Nikolai Rusanov shared their views with the guests regarding the future of the Internet of Things in the framework of the concept of Smart House.
The development of this area not only in the CIS but also in Europe was analyzed by the special foreign speaker Yves Gassot. He spoke about the increasingly popular trends in Western Europe, as well as in other countries of the world.
Igor Kulynychev working for an American company IBM analyzed step by step the architecture of the Internet of Things for those who got gradually acquainted with this technology or wanted to delve into the details of using smart gadgets.
In addition, the conference involved the draw of two smart wristbands OneTrak among the participants, bringing the conference visitors more closer to the world of the Internet of Things and wearable technologies.
In general, there were a lot of interesting, new and informative things; and it is safe to say that the second exhibition and conference "Internet of Things" has become even bigger and more technological.
